Kareena Kapoor Disappears 2013 Idea Filmfare Awards season

Kareena Kapoor Khan is quite an award season darling. When she's not busy winning awards, we can definitely see her giving performances at various award functions. But whether or not she's nominated, she's almost always there.

This year we saw Kareena take centre stage in the form of romantic comedy Ek Main aur Ekk Tu, Madhur Bhandarkar's bildungsroman Heroine and Reema Kagti's thriller Talaash. The latter two have garnered her many positive reviews for her performance, and she had many nominations in the form of:


1. BIG Star Entertainment Awards - Most Entertaining Actor in a Thriller for Talaash (won) and Most Entertaining Film Actor for Talaash (nominated)
2. Filmfare Awards - Best Actress for Heroine (nominated)
3. Zee Cine Awards - Best Actress for Talaash (nominated)
4. Screen Awards - Best Actress for Heroine (nominated)
5. ETC Bollywood Business Awards - Most Profitable Actress (nominated)
and many others, excluding those yet to come.

And while we still have quite a few award ceremonies to go, we noticed that Kareena was nowhere to be seen at most so far, especially the biggies Screen and Filmfare. Keeping two factors in mind that she was nominated and very much in Mumbai during award season, she's disappeared from the award limelight right now.
